Millions have been killed or displaced, and the region remains mired in conflict and instability\u00a0due to Rwanda&#8217;s ongoing disruptive influence.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We call for immediate action by the international community\u00a0and peace-loving people\u00a0to\u00a0be the voice for the Congolese people so that the\u00a0cycle of violence\u00a0is broken\u00a0and sovereignty of Democratic republic of Congo (DRC) as a country\u00a0in maintained.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Eastern DRC has been plagued by waves of wars\u00a0since 1996, fueled by president\u00a0of Rwanda\u00a0Paul Kagame and president of Uganda Kaguta Museveni.\u00a0For many years, they have created and\u00a0supported many armed militia groups. These acts are\u00a0driven by the desire for control of the region&#8217;s rich mineral resources.\u00a0Disturbingly, Kagame and Ugandan President\u00a0Yoweri Museveni\u00a0share a vision: to build a solely Tutsi Empire\u00a0(Hima-Tutsi empire)\u00a0that encompasses all Nilotic countries in East Africa.\u00a0However,\u00a0these demonic plans\u00a0have resulted in the deaths of millions and the displacement of countless others. Innocent lives have been shattered, families torn apart, and communities left in despair.\u00a0The 2010 UN Mapping Report documented widespread human rights abuses, including potential acts of genocide\u00a0committed by Rwandan\u00a0military\u00a0forces in the region. An estimated 12 million Congolese people and Hutu refugees have been killed since the conflict began, with no end in sight.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The resurgence of the M23 rebels, supported by Rwanda, has led to renewed violence and displacement. These rebels, despite the combined efforts of the DRC&#8217;s army (FARDC) and the Southern African Development Community (SADC) mission, continue to operate with impunity due to Rwandan backing. This support includes arms supplies, training, and logistical assistance.\u00a0A\u00a02023 UN Group of Experts report provided evidence that Rwanda continues to support the M23 rebel group operating in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. According to the UN experts, the Rwandan military has been implicated in backing the M23 rebellion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While the RDF supports terrorist militias in eastern DRC, Rwanda itself lacks the military capacity to wage direct war against the DRC. However, Rwanda&#8217;s military\u00a0partnership\u00a0with the USA and its\u00a0European allies\u00a0provide the leverage needed to exploit eastern DRC&#8217;s vast mineral resources. This alliance is the driving force behind the destabilization of the region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enough is enough.\u00a0The Congolese Solidarity Movement calls on the international community to take immediate and decisive action to end the ongoing injustices endured by the people of the Eastern DRC by:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Condemning\u00a0in the strongest possible terms the crimes against humanity and potential genocide being committed in the Eastern DRC.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Demanding\u00a0an immediate ceasefire and the withdrawal of all M23 rebels from Congolese territory.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Imposing\u00a0an arms embargo on Rwanda to sever its support for the M23.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Holding\u00a0Rwandan president Paul Kagame\u00a0accountable for\u00a0theviolations of international law and human rights\u00a0in Easter DRC and Great Lakes region in general.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ongoing conflict in the Eastern DRC is a humanitarian crisis demanding immediate international action.\u00a0The\u00a0United States\u00a0of America\u00a0and European\u00a0allies\u00a0must\u00a0cease all support for the dictatorial, murderous, and repressive regime headed by Paul Kagame. We urge all peace-loving nations to raise their voices in solidarity with the Congolese people, whose lives have been ravaged by relentless terrorism. It is imperative to advocate for a peaceful resolution to the DRC conflict and hold accountable those orchestrating this\u00a0violence, namely Paul Kagame, whom we believe serves as a puppet leader for Western interests on African soil.
