Demand firm guarantees that the proceeds from any mining contract will truly be used to rebuild the DRC and save its people. Not to enrich political predators!\u201d<\/p>\n
He strongly recalls the bitter experience of the \u201cChinese contract\u201d: a multi-billion-dollar deal that benefited a handful of corrupt individuals, while the Congolese people saw no improvements in their daily lives.<\/p>\n
